My name is Ryan Pinder, for those who I have not had the opportunity to meet, I am the Minister for Financial Services and Trade for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. The Government of The Bahamas, and particularly the Ministry of Financial Services are pleased to be the Platinum sponsor for this event. Yesterday I had the pleasure to speak to you about The Bahamas, what differentiates The Bahamas as a financial and business center from other jurisdictions, and why these fundamental characteristics of The Bahamas make the jurisdiction a sound financial center for prudent Chinese investors. Today I speak to you on the attractiveness of The Bahamas for foreign investment, and then discuss specific products and structuring opportunities that make The Bahamas an ideal gateway for Asian investment.
