Financial Community Advanced Technical Educational Trust for Bahamians

In 1973, the leaders of the banking industry realised the importance of skill development in our new country, in particular, the cultivation of technical skills. Committing $130,000 to the Financial Community Advanced Technical Educational Trust for Bahamians (1973), legally established on June 16th, 1974,these visionaries ensured that those Bahamians of upstanding character and good academic skills would benefit both themselves and our country through the acquisition of diverse technical skills.
